midfielder  sent his support to Liverpool winger wishing him a speedy recovery after he sustained an injury in the UEFA Champions League final game which his team lost 3-1.

The Egyptian king had to leave the field on the half-hour mark of the final against Real Madrid after sustaining a shoulder injury following a heavy challenge by Sergio Ramos in a dramatic scene that left Salah in tears on his way out.

A few minutes after Salah was forced off the pitch, Real Madrid right-back Dani Carvajal was substituted after a suspected hamstring injury that might make him miss the 2018 World Cup.

“Don‘t want to forget to wish my friend Dani Carvajal and Mohamed Salah a speedy recovery. Hope to see both at the world cup,” Kroos said on his official Twitter account.

Salah’s injury put his hopes of playing for Egypt at the World Cup in less than a month in jeopardy. It is yet to be seen if the injury will keep the 25-year-old out of the 2018 World Cup but the Egyptian FA seem to be optimistic and believe that he will be fit before June 15.

After the game, the winger has received several messages of support from the footballing world and the outreach of the support has extended to politicians with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi sending a supportive message of his own.

In addition to being a hardcore football fan, Abdelrahman is a communications enthusiast who works in marketing, advertising, content creation and PR.

I love euro football and I love martial arts! I was a blatant arm bar take down by Ramos. I wished I owned Real Madrid I would pay whatever to keep him on the team and the man would never walk onto a pitch again!
