Euro 2016 champions were held to a 2-2 draw as brought the game level after going two down in their first World Cup warm-up match.

Portugal, without star man Cristiano Ronaldo, who helped Real Madrid win a third consecutive Champions League title in Kiev on Saturday.

Despite Ronaldo’s absence, Fernando Santos’ side led 2-0, but the determined visitors had something else on their mind as they pulled two goals.

AC Milan striker Andre Silva bagged a header to give Portugal the lead after a pinpoint cross by Quaresma and Joao Mario fired home a 20-yard screamer to make it 2-0.

Nabil Maaloul’s men, however, had other ideas, and reduced the deficit through a wonderful strike from Anice Badri in the 39th minute.

Following a couple of second-half substitutions and shortly after a disallowed William Carvalho header, Tunisia then scored a scrappy equaliser through Fakhreddine Ben Youssef to claim an unlikely draw.

Portugal will next be in action against Belgium on Saturday, while Tunisia take on Turkey on Friday.
