Referees for Egypt friendly match with Colombia named

The Italian Football Federation announced the names of Italian referees who are set to officiate Egypt and friendly game, that will take place on June 1st in Milan as part of the final World Cup preparations for both teams.

Hector Cuper and his men will be meeting Uruguay in the first round of the group stages, which makes facing South American side Colombia a perfect warm-up for their opening match.

After facing Uruguay on June 15, the Pharaohs will clash with hosts Russia on June 19, and conclude the group stage against Saudi Arabia on June 25.

Colombia are placed in group D with Poland, Senegal, and Japan and will face the African side in their last group game.

The Federcalcio declared that the match will be led by referee Paolo Mazzoleni, an international referee for FIFA since 2011 and assisted by Fabiano Bretti, Mattio Baseri and Luca Banti as a fourth official.

In addition to being a hardcore football fan, Abdelrahman is a communications enthusiast who works in marketing, advertising, content creation and PR.
