El Gouna sign Egyptian Premier League triplet
Newly promoted club El Gouna have completed the signing of Egyptian Premier League trio Ahmed Magdy, Ahmed Ali and Ahmed El-Shennawy as first team reinforcements ahead of next season.
El Gouna had secured promotion to the Egyptian Premier League following their win over El-Salam in the second division’s playoffs, with the other the other two promotion spots went to Haras El Hodood and Nogoom El Mostakbal.
The upcoming Premier League campaign will be their fifth season in the top-tier league after they had regressed to the lower division in 2015, spending three years there.
El Gouna have announced on Wednesday the signing of Zamalek midfielder Ahmed Magdy, who had hardly featured for the Whites last season, on permanent basis. Moreover, former Al Ahly and Arab Contractors experienced right back Ahmed Ali has also completed his transfer to the Hurghada-based club.
Additionally, El Gouna have also signed Wadi Degla midfielder Ahmed El-Shennawy for the forthcoming season.
