Carlos Bacca: Egypt missed the likes of ElNeny and Salah
Colombia were held to a 0-0 draw against Egypt in their final preparatory game for the 2018 World Cup.
“It was a big game against a strong team and we performed very well,” Bacca told OnSport TV channel.
“Egypt missed some big players such as Moohamed ElNeny and Mohamed Salah but they have a really good manager. Egypt can perform really well in the World Cup,” he added.
“We [Colombia] are working and hoping to reach the best stages of the World Cup.”
Colombia were drawn in Group H alongside Japan, Poland and Senegal. They will kick-off their campaign against Japan on June 19.
As for the Pharaohs they still have one preparatory game before the start of the tournament against Belgium on June 6. They were drawn in Group A alongside hosts Russia, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia.
