Khaled Kamar rejoins Ittihad of Alexandria from Zamalek
The 30-year-old forward has joined Zamalek from Ittihad El-Shorta in 2014, but spent most of his time on loan at Smouha, Ittihad of Alexandria, and Entag El-Harby.
He had a successful loan spell at Entag El-Harby last season, scoring nine goals in 13 games, leading the club to the seventh place in the Egyptian Premier League [their highest ever league finish].
However, Zamalek decided against keeping the forward and instead sold him to Ittihad of Alexandria for an undisclosed fee, with Kamar signing a two-year contract with the club.
During his first spell at Ittihad of Alexandria, Kamar managed to score four goals and provide eight assists in 29 games, and was linked with a move to Zamalek’s arch-rivals Al Ahly.
Kamar brings a wealth of experience to Ittihad, having scored over 40 goals in the Egyptian Premier League as well as winning 10 international caps, scoring once against Chile in a friendly in 2014.
