Zamalek after Difaa Hassani El Jadidi forward Hamid Ahaddad
Zamalek are hoping they will sign Moroccan forward Hamid Ahaddad, as a representative from the club traveled to Morocco to meet the player and his agent.
After a season filled with poor displays at the White Castle, new Zamalek boss Khaled Galal managed to help Zamalek walk out of the season triumphal, claiming the Egyptian Cup title.
Now the Zamalek coach is working on building a new team and has put Ahaddad on the top of his list in the club’s new signings this summer.
The 23-year-old plays for Difaa Hassani El Jadidi, and has scored 9 goals for the Moroccan side in the league and managed to fire five goals past Guinean club Benfica Bissau in the CAF Champions League.
Ahaddad will fit perfectly into Galal’s plans as he is a versatile player that can play on both flanks or as a supporting striker.
He used to play alongside Walid Azaro, at a side called Adrar before both players moved to Difaa, now Azaro is the Egyptian Premier League top goal scorer playing for Al Ahly.
The player and his agent will meet the Zamalek representative this Monday to discuss further details.
