Al Masry complete signing of Palestine international Mahmoud Wadi
The Port Said-based club announced the capture of the 23-year-old forward on their website, with the Palestinian becoming their third major signing after Torric Jebrin and Mahmoud El Kout.
Wadi claimed the top goalscorer of the Jordan Premier League award after netting eight times with Al Ahli, leading them to sixth place in the league.
He has represented his country once and was last called-up for their game against Oman in the 2019 Asian Cup of Nations qualification in March.
He will have a fight on his hands to get a starting spot, with Ahmed Gomaa, Issouf Ouattara, and Aristide Bancé being considered key players for Hossam Hassan.
Al Masry have finished the 2017-2018 season in the third place behind Al Ahly and Ismaily, and have qualified for the group-stages of the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup.
