President El-Sisi hosts national team before heading to Russia
Egyptian president Abdel Fatah El-Sisi will host the Egyptian national team before they head to 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The 23-player squad will attend the meeting along with the coaching staff and members of the Egyptian Football Association.
Egyptian FA member Karam Kordy stated that the pharaohs will meet with the president on Saturday morning.
The players will then undergo their last training session at Cairo International Stadium with the fans at night.
The national is then set to head to Russia on Sunday to take part of the first World Cup since 1990.
The pharaohs were placed in group A along with the hosts, Russia, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia.
Egypt will face Uruguay in their group opening match on Friday June 15th at the Ekatreinburg Arena at 14:00 CLT.
