Tunisian striker Lassad Jaziri joins Ismaily

Ismaily announced the signing of Tunisian striker in a three-year deal as the club prepares for the new season.

Despite the fact that his club, Union Sportive de Ben Guerdane, came in the 12th position with only 26 points, forward Lassad Jaziri was Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 top scorer with 10 goals scored in 10 matches he played this season.

The 28-year-old winger started his career with Etoile Sportive du Sahel’s youth team then proceeded to the first team in 2010. He later moved to AS Marsa in 2015 before joining Ben Guerdane.

The Yellow Dragons are aiming to strengthen their squad after the departure of Colombian forward Diego Calderon who joined Saudi Pro League outfit Al Faisaly and Ibrahim Hassan who moved to Zamalek.

Ismaily finished off their 2017/2018 Egyptian Premier League campaign in the second place which guarantees their participation in the upcoming version of the CAF Champions League.

In addition to being a hardcore football fan, Abdelrahman is a communications enthusiast who works in marketing, advertising, content creation and PR.
