El-Dakhleya re-sign Nigerian midfielder Emmanuel Agbettor
Egyptian Premier League side El-Dakhleya have re-signed Nigerian midfielder Emmanuel Agbettor Karbogi on a free transfer.
The 27-year-old will return to El-Dakhleya two years after leaving them to join ENPPI. He made 65 appearances for them during his first spell, helping the club finish in a respectable eighth place.
The Nigerian joins El-Dakhleya from Libyan side Ahli Tripoli, having joined them last summer from ENPPI on a free transfer.
El-Dakhleya manager Alaa Abd El-Aal confirmed the transfer, saying the player has agreed to sign a two-year deal, that will keep him at the club until 2020.
Emmanuel Agbettor has played over 90 games in Egypt and is considered one of the most well-known foreign players in the Egyptian football.
El-Dakhleya finished last season in the 14th place, only 10 points away from the relegation zone and will be looking to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.
They have lost Ahmed Mostafa, who was on loan last season from Petrojet, after the Petroleum club decided to sell him to Belgian side KAA Gent.
