Michael Lindeman returns to Al Ahly, joins Carteron’s staff
Michael Lindeman has officially returned to Al Ahly in order to join the first team’s technical staff as fitness coach, the club has confirmed.
Lindeman had a former experience with Al Ahly during Martin Jol’s stint with the team in 2016 and departed the club along with the Dutch coach in the same year.
Lindeman will be replacing Al Ahly’s Tunisian fitness coach Anis El-Chaalali who left as a result of Hossam El-Badry’s stepping down as the Red Devils coach last month.
“I did not feel myself far from the club in the past two years. I was still communicating with the players, my friends within the club and also the fans,” Lindeman told Al Ahly official website.
The Dutch trainer said he is looking forward to succeed with Al Ahly and pledges to work hard for the club, while also thanking the club’s board for putting their trust in him.
