Amro Tarek scored an own goal as Impact Montreal defeated Orlando City 3-0.
Argentina’s Ignacio Piatti opened the scoreline just five minutes into the game, as he sent the ball home from the spot.
Orlando City came close to equalize the scoreline, however, they failed until the referee blew the halftime whistle.
In the 55th minute, Egypt’s Amro Tarek converted an accurate cross into the back of his own net, making it 2-0.
In the dying moments of the game, Piatti doubled his tally scoring his side’s third of the night, as he dribbled past Orlando City’s goalkeeper and finished the ball calmly into the back of the net.
Following the loss, Orlando City sits 14th in the MLS table with 19 points and are set to face DC United on the 21st of June in the US Open Cup.
