According to Cúper it was not worth the risk playing Salah. Somebody tell that genius that this is not a 20 team league with 38 matches and room for errors and losses. Somebody explain that brilliant mind that even if Egypt wins the next two games they’ll quite possibly NOT go through to the second round.* To avoid that scenario Egypt has to aim for a win with at least 2 goals difference against Russia. That’s not going to happen since the virtuoso Cúper will be the happiest and proudest man on earth should he snatch a 1-0 victory.

*should Uruguay win vs Saudi Arabia and Russia beat the extremely overrated Uruguayans (which is going to happen)

P.S.: It wasn’t a strong performance by Egypt. It was just a quite weak game of football.
