El-Hadary: Russia game is life or death for us
The 45-year-old goalkeeper talked about the Pharaohs’ upcoming clash in Group A against Russia, claiming that anything but the win, would mean that the Egyptians will not be able to advance to the second round.
On becoming the oldest player ever to participate at the World Cup, El-Hadary stated, “I do not care about individual titles. I am just happy here with the national team and participate in the World Cup for the first time in 28 years.”
The hosts will face Egypt on Tuesday, June 19 at 20:00 CLT, at the Saint Petersburg arena a day before Uruguay’s clash with Saudi Arabia.
