Kahraba: We promise everyone our next performance will be even better

 Luck was not on ’s side in the Uruguay game according to but the forward promises the fans they will watch better displays in the next games.

Kahraba is fully focused on the upcoming game against and promises the Egyptian fans they will defeat both the hosts and Saudi Arabia to qualify to the next round.

“We played a good game but in the end the result was not in our favor.

“All our focus is now shifted to facing Russia, we will only except a win against them and also against Saudi Arabia, and we promise everyone a better performance than what we showed in the Uruguay game, we have to win in the next two matches.

“When I was subbed in the Uruguay game, I did everything Hector Cuper instructed me to do. I was asked to do more than one task when I entered the pitch.

“Cuper asked me to play as a target man to help the players coming from behind, in addition to moving on the flanks, and to force pressure on the opponents’ defense.”

The 24-year-old plays as a wide man for his club Al-Ittihad but is mainly considered an unorthodox no 9 in Cuper’s World Cup squad.

Egypt will face the hosts Russia this Tuesday before taking on Saudi Arabia Monday June 25.

    Uhm, what does “…we will only except a win” mean? EVEN better? Reading that you’d think Egypt had a brilliant performance creating tons of chances and hindering their opponents from doing the same.
