Former Arsenal manager spoke to about the value of having a midfielder like at his squad.

Former striker Mido had a chat with Wenger after one of beIN Sports’ studios on Elneny and tweeted afterwards what the 68-year-old French man had told him.

Mido wrote on twitter: “Today I asked Wenger about Elneny and his answer made me proud to be an Egyptian. He told me that Elneny is loved by everyone, always smiling and he wishes he had 20 players like him!”

“If any team had 20 players like Elneny they will not even need a coach,” he added.

“He is always close and available on the pitch which makes it much easier for the team to buildup in attack.”

Arsene Wenger has coached Elneny for two and a half seasons at Arsenal, where he helped the Egyptian to win the FA Cup and the Community Shield trophies.

The Pharaoh is also a vital player in Hector Cuper’s squad in the World Cup, and is set to start against Russia this Tuesday at the Saint Petersburg stadium.
