Official: Zamalek acquire Hamid Ahaddad from Difaa El Jadidi


Cairo giants Zamalek have completed the signing of Moroccan striker from Morocco’s on permanent basis, to become the club’s second summer signing.

Ahaddad scored 9 goals for the Moroccan side in the league and managed to fire five goals past Guinean club Benfica Bissau in the CAF Champions League.

Zamalek statement read that Ahaddad has signed for the Whites on a four-year contract after the club finalised their agreement with Difaa El Jadidi for a reported fee of 1 million and 400 thousand USD.

The Egypt Cup title holders are expected to submit the first installment of the fee, which amount for 700 thousand USD, on Sunday.

Zamalek president Mortada Mansour has expressed his gratitude towards Difaa El Jadidi chairman for allowing the deal reach a positive conclusion.

Zamalek had made their first summer signing on Thursday ago when they announced the transfer of ENPPI goalkeeper Emad El-Sayed.
