Ahmed Hegazi fit ahead of clash with Saudi Arabia
The Egyptian Football Association released a statement with updates concerning our squad ahead of their game against Saudi Arabia.
The national team this morning had their last training session in the city of Grozny. The city that hosted Egypt’s camp during the World Cup, before the team head to the city of Volgograd, which will hold the last tie with Saudi Arabia next Monday.
Egypt squad are expected to return the following day directly to Cairo from Volgograd after getting knocked out of the competition from the first round of the tournament.
Hegazi participated in full training with the group, while Omar Gaber was unable to participate in training with the rest of his teammates and only worked on individual exercises.
The national team will have a final training before the Saudi match at 3:30 pm (2:30 pm in Cairo) at the stadium of Volgograd Arena, which will be followed by a press conference held by coach Hector Cooper and captain Essam El-Hadary.
