equalized twice to hold to a 2-2 draw in the second fixture of Group H in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Just 11 minutes into game, Liverpool’s Sadio Mane opened the scoring for the Teranga Lions following a howler from Japan’s goalkeeper.

Japan replied quickly with a swift attack, however, Hasebe’s shot was blocked by his teammate in the 16th minute.

The Japanese leveled things up in the 34th minute as Takashi Inui curled shot from inside the box found the back of the net.

Inui nearly doubled his tally in the 64th minute, however his brilliant curved shot from the edge of the box hit the cross bar.

Senegal regained their lead im the 71st minute, as Wague finished Sabaly’s low cross past the goalkeeper from a tight angle.

Just seven minutes later Japan equalized again as Honda sent the ball home following poor clearance by Senegal’s goalkeeper.

Following the match, Senegal and Japan occupy Group H’s first and seconds spots with four points each.

Mohammed Salama is a 21-year-old who fell in love with football since Egypt's AFCON final match against Ivory Coast! Strangely enough an Al Ahly and Al Masry fan locally. In addition, he's a hardcore Bayern Munich supporter.
