The Pharaohs, who exited the World Cup after losing to Uruguay and Russia, will face already eliminated Saudi Arabia in a dead rubber at the Volgograd Arena on Monday at 4pm Cairo time. Egypt now have zero points after losing 1-0 to Uruguay and 3-1 to Russia.
Egypt, who made their first World Cup appearance in 28 years, will be looking to earn their first ever World Cup win against Saudi Arabia.
Egypt squad saw the inclusion of veteran keeper Essam El-Hadary in the starting line-up as he’ll become the oldest ever man to play at a World Cup at the age of 45.
