Zamalek’s chairman, , stated that Ali Gabr and Tarek Hamed are set to join Pyramids FC when Turki Al-Sheikh completes his takeover of the club on June 28th.

Mansour acknowledged that the Zamalek duo will join , formerly known as, Al Assiouty SC, in a deal that could cost 5 million USD.

’s contract is set to expire in 6 months, so after talking to his agent, I have decided to sell him and make money out of the deal instead of letting him go for free,” said Mansour.

He added, ” As for , West Bromwich Albion has decided to not buy the player after the end of his loan period, so we are selling him for about 2.5 million USD.”

“I am trying to save some money for the club, and with these deals I can generate about 30-40 million EGP easily. We have players such as Bassem Morsy and Ahmed El-Shennawy who get paid 5 million EGP and 10 million EGP respectively so we could definitely use the money.”

It was recently revealed that Turki Al Sheikh would lead a takeover of Al Assiouty as well as renaming the club to , or Pyramids FC, it became evident that the club would be delving into the transfer market in order to make a challenge to Al Ahly’s monopoly of the Egyptian league.

If he needs the money then why he is buying expensive players as well. He keep buying and selling players every year and the rumor is because he makes commission of selling and buying players which should be unethical and illegal.
