Fakhreddine Ben Youssef to sit as an emergency goalkeeper substitute against Panama

It has been confirmed that attacking midfielder will be the back-up goalkeeper on ’s bench against for Moez Ben Charifia due to injury crisis.

Tunisia national team called up Esperance goalkeeper Moez Ben Charifia as a replacement for injured goalkeeper Farouk Ben Mustapha.

Only Al Baten’s Aymen Mathlouthi, who has 70 caps for the Carthage Eagles, and is tipped for the Carthage Eagles in their final match up against Panama in which they hope to gain their first points in the World Cup before heading back home, as their chances in advancing through are none after two defeats against England and Belgium.

According to Tunisian radio station Mosaïque FM, Nabil Maaloul has decided to include Ben Youssef in the match squad as a second goalkeeper.

Tunisia have had an issue with their goalkeepers as Mouez Hassen got injured during their World Cup opener  against England, before Al Shabab goalkeeper Ben Mustapha sustaining an injury during team training prior to the Panama game.
