Former Ittihad of Alexandria forward Mohamed Farouk Benzema dies
Egyptian footballer Mohamed Farouk ‘Benzema’ died on Friday after suffering a cardiac arrest.
The 32-year-old forward played for a number of teams in the Egyptian Premier League during his career. He played at Misr El-Makassa before moving to Ittihad of Alexandria in Augustn 2013. He then moved to Haras El-Hodood two years later before playing for El-Shams in 2017.
