Zamalek sent its first list of 29 players to the Football Association, all from players who have been with the team last season.
Zamalek’s first list saw all the players who have been with the team since last season and the return of a number of player from their loans.
The names of the new deals were not included in the list, in addition to Ayman Hefni, who recently extended his contract, and will be sent on the second list of the team.
The first list included: Ahmed Al Shennawi, Mahmoud Abdel Rahim, Mahmoud Alaa, Mahmoud Hamdi “El Wench”, Ali Gabr, Mohammed Abdulghani, Hazem Emam, Hamdi Nagguez, Islam Gamal, Tarek Hamed, Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Mohamed Ashraf “Roqa”, Mahmoud Abdelati “Dunga”, Mohammed Antar, Ahmed Mdbouli, Abdullah Gomaa, Maarouf Youssef, Emad Fathi, Mohamed Ibrahim, Ahmed Tawfik, Youssef Ibrahim “Obama”, Kasongo Kabongo, , Mostafa Fathi ,Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahraba”, Mahmoud Abdel Razak “Shikabala”.
On the other hand, Zamalek decided to put five players on the waiting list until the arrival of offers for them to leave Hossam Salama “Paolo”, Islam Gamal, Ahmed Moussa “Kaboria”, Benjamin Ashimbong, Ahmed Refaat.
Under-age players do not have a place on the team, such as Omar Salah, the team’s third goalkeeper.
