are set to face and in the next few weeks in pre season friendlies as they prepare for their first season since Turki Al Sheikh’s rebrand.

With the ambitious Saudi backed project in full effect, Pyramids FC are preparing for their maiden season under that name with pre season friendlies against two Eastern European sides in Moldova’s Zimbru Chisinau and Russia’s Akhmat Grozny.

Pyramids will face off against Zimbru Chisinau on July 11th, with the Yellow-Greens being rather unimpressive as they recently finished 8th in the lowly Moldovan league which is generally dominated by the more familiar Sheriff Tiraspol. Their most prominent players are Moldova internationals.

Akhmat Grozny, formerly known as Terek Grozny, are based in the same city that Egypt were controversially based in for the 2018 World Cup, and while they are just a midtable Russian team at the moment they have some relatively notable players such as Iran international Milad Mohammedi and Venezuela defender Wilker Angel.

Pyramids will use these games as preparation for their first season in which they could potentially look to challenge for the title considering the magnitude of their signings this summer.

We will end the reign of Ahly in Egypt and Africa the next 20, 30 years.

I’m not even ahlawy but what the heck are you saying? These are just some players who come for the money. Not motivated or anything. I don’t think Pyramids FC will compete for the african champions league nor even the Egyptian league. Maybe after 5 years if that unreliable Turki Alsheikh is still on charge.
