EFA list conditions for new Egypt coach

board member Karam Kurdi has spoken out the federations’ set of requirements that need to be available in the upcoming coach which is set to succeed Hector Cuper.

The EFA decided to part company with Cuper and opt to not renew his expiring contract following the abysmal World Cup campaign, which saw Egypt lose all three of their games to Uruguay, Russia, and Saudi Arabia and finish bottom of their group.

“The most important condition is that the new coach has experience in managing national teams, especially in the African continent,” Kurdi told a local radio station.

“We prefer him to be a young manager, and to also be convenient from the economical point of view.”

Kurdi also stated that the FA did not settle on the name of the new Egypt coach till the moment and that they received the CVs of several coaches in the current period.

This is where we go wrong. “Convenient from an economical point of view”. Look no real employer talks money in the first round of interviews. It just sounds exactly what we received. We are trying to trade in a kabob for a Beamer. We are only worried about our end of the deal and not looking to make an investment. Any top notch coach is already scratched off. Any high performing coach scratched off. So we are stuck with coaches similar to the likes of cuper or some Egyptian coach who is not tactically aware.
