Egypt sustain third consecutive defeat to Croatia in Women’s Junior World Championship


’s Women’s team have fell short to their third defeat in a row when they lost to 30:19 in the Women’s Junior World Championship’s third round of the preliminary rounds.

 had commenced their world championship campaign with a defeat to Spain with 39-20 scoreline in their opening game of Women’s Junior World Championship in Hungary.

The Pharaohs continued their disappointing start in the Women’s Junior World Championship, losing their second game of the tournament to France 37-18.

The Egyptian team had a very good start, in spite of its injures, with an excellent goalkeeping. Croatia strengthen its defence in the second half, while the tired Egypt team tried to hold the result, but failed to avoid another loss.

Egypt are drawn in the world championship’s Group D alongside Croatia, Spain, France, Germany, and Sweden, with the top four qualifying for the quarter-finals.
