Phakamani Mahlambi’s agent: No decision regarding his future yet
The agent of Al Ahly winger Phakamani Mahlambi, Glyn Binkin, has asserted that nothing is certain yet regarding his client’s future, saying that the Red Devils coach Patrice Carteron wants to see him first.
Mamelodi Sundowns have set their eyes on the 20-year-old Red Devil, Mahlambi, to be a strong replacement for the departing Percy Tau according to South African reports.
Al Ahly recently appointed Patrice Carteron as their head coach as they look to get back on track in the CAF Champions League, and according to Binkin he is keen to watch the South Africa international before taking any decision.
“No decisions have been made as yet regarding Phakamani. There is a new coach at the club who wants to see the player first before any decisions are made about his future.”
The 20-year-old attacker had previously won the league title with former champions Bidvest Wits, and became the first South African to play and win a league title in Egypt after signing a four-year deal with the Red Devils in 2017.
