Ismaily Chairman Ibrahim Osman denied that what president Mourtada Mansour said regarding his club and Mahmoud Abdel Razek ‘’.

Following comments from Mansour regarding Shikabala and his move to Ismaily in this transfer window, Ismaily CEO Osman stated on the club’s official website they never approached the player and was very upset about Zamalek’s statement.

He said: “We respect Shikabala, he is a talented player, but we did not make any offers  to sign him in the transfer window, we only follow players that our technical staff led by Khairuddin Mudawi request.”

Osman continued: “Zamalek club president is responsible for his statements, but when we try to to sing any player requested by our technical staff we work on our signings on confidentiality.

“We do not know why the name of Ismaily is always dragged in these kinds of situations, they end up with a negative impact on our team.

“We have signed a number of new players in the positions we need to strengthen before the new season after consulting our technical staff. We hope they contribute in greater achievements than what we reached last season in the league, cup and we are hoping for great results in the CAF Champions League and the Arab Club Champions Cup.”
