Cairo giants Zamalek are set to face Germany’s and UAE’s in pre season friendlies in the coming weeks.

The White Knights are embarking on a pre season camp in Germany, and during their trip they will face off against the pair.

Bundesliga and as a result will play at the top level once again next season. While they lack star names, a familiar face to African football fans in their ranks is Edgar Salli who has picked up 36 caps for Cameroon including being part of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations winning squad, although he was an unused substitute in the final against Egypt.

Al Wasl, who play in Dubai, are currently high flyers in the as they finished third last season although they were some distance between league winners Al Ain. While they don’t boast the star names that some other Emirati sides have, their main source of goals is from Fabio Lima who has lit up the UAE since joining scoring 80 goals in 97 league games.

The friendlies take place on Tuesday the 10th of July (vs Nurnberg) and Friday the 13th of July (vs Al Wasl) respectively.
