Morocco’s Karim El Ahmadi joins Ittihad Jeddah
The club announced the signing through a series of posts on their Twitter account which showed the player holding his new shirt, number 19 after successfully passing his medical examination.
The official account of Al Ittihad club, via the social networking site Twitter, read: “The club is officially signing with Karim Al Ahmadi.”
The player appeared holding his new shirt number 19, after he successfully bypassed his medical examination.
Ittihad officially announced the signing of Moroccan Karim Al Ahmadi, former Feyenoord midfielder, on a free transfer.
The Morocco midfielder had featured in 31 games in Eredivisie last season with Feyenoord, scoring two goals and assisting other four. He made the switch from Aston Villa to the Dutch giants in 2014, spending four years at the club.
The 33-year-old was a fixed starter in the Morocco team that took part in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where the Lions of the Atlas collected only a single point in the group stage from a draw against Spain and two defeats to Iran and Portugal despite their honourable displays.
