Former Zamalek striker Nana Poku moves to Qatari side Al-Wakrah
The Ghanaian player has recently terminated his contract with Zamalek, which made him join Al-Wakrah as a free agent.
The striker joined Zamalek in January 2018, where he appeared in only 10 games in the Egyptian Premier League and managed to net two goals due to a series of injuries.
According to Zamalek president Mortada Mansour, the 25-year-old has given up his due payments at the club, amounting for two million EGP.
Poku has played for many clubs in the Egyptian Premier League, starting with a stint at El Shorta and he is now set join a third Arabian league, as he enjoyed a number of spells in Egypt and one at United Arab Emirates with Al Shabab.
