Esraa El-Sayed clinches gold medal in IWF Women’s Junior World Championship
Egyptian weightlifter Esraa El-Sayed has managed to achieve the gold medal in the in the women’s 69 kg snatch in the IWF Junior World Championship.
The IWF Junior World Championship, which kicked off on July 7, is being held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and sees the participation of six Egyptian competitors: Ahmed Kamel, Ahmed Ashour, Mohamed Hesham and Osama El-Garhy in men’s competition and Sara Samir and Esraa El-Sayed in women’s competition.
As the ranking is determined by the order of performing the good lift, AHMED Esraa El-Sayed, won the gold medal, followed by Belkhir Ghofrane from Tunisia and Fayzullaeva Kumushkhon from Uzbekistan.
El-Sayed, Belkhir and Belkhir have all registered the same weight lifted, which lead to the ranking being determined by the order in which the good lift was performed.
