Malick Evouna hints at Al Ahly return
Former Al Ahly star Malick Evouna pointed out that he will be returning to the Red Castle following the end of his loan to Turkish side Konyaspor ended.
Kingfut reported at the beginning of the year that Al Ahly have contacted Evouna to bring back their former star to the team and strengthen their offense. The player’s loan spell ended in June 2018 and he will now return to Tianjin Teda Reserves.
On his official Instagram profile, Evouna replied a comment saying that he will come to Al Ahly, which left fans anticipating a possible return to the Cairo giants.
Evouna initially signed for the Red Devils in July 2015 where he made 35 official appearances, scoring 15 goals to lead Al Ahly to the Egyptian Premier League title.
The Gabonese striker then moved to Chinese outfit Tianjin Teda after only one season with the Egyptian champions. However, his start was not bright in China and as a result of his performances, he was transferred to the reserves side.
Last August, Konyaspor completed the signing of the Gabonese forward on loan. In the 2017/18 season, he has made 17 appearances scoring just one goal and making one assist.
