Zamalek’s Islam Gamal joins Tala’a El-Gaish on loan
Zamalek defender Islam Gamal has joined Tala’a El-Gaish on loan in the current summer transfer window.
The White Castle chairman Mortada Mansour has agreed to send the player on loan for free to Tala’a El-Geish in recognition of the role of the armed forces in fighting terrorism and protecting the country.
“At the moment the armed forces are fighting a war against terrorism, and the least possible thing we can do for the army is loaning out Gamal without receiving any payments from their side,” Mansour said.
“This is the least that can be done….in honour of their efforts in fighting terrorism and maintaining security in Sinai,” he added.
The 29-year-old was already put on the list of players leaving Zamalek and has moved after the approval of the coaching staff led by Christian Gross.
Gamal just returned to Zamalek last January as the club ended his loan to Petrojet after Ali Gabr moved West Bromwich.
