Slavia Praha’s coach admits his desire to sign Trezeguet
Slavia Praha’s manager Jindřich Trpišovský has stated that the possibility of seeing Egypt international Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’ playing for the Czech giants remains alive.
Trezeguet was on the brink of completing his transfer to Slavia last week after agreeing personal terms with the club, but KingFut had recounted that the former Al Ahly player put the deal on hold as he was still undecided.
The Egypt international’s move to Italian giants Inter was 80 per cent complete few weeks ago, but Inter’s reluctance to conclude the deal immediately complicated matters.
“Trezeguet’s move to Slavia is still alive, but still drifts up and down. He is one of the players we would love to sign because we have been watching him for a long time,” Trpišovský told Slavia Praha’s official website.
“We flew to Turkey and have been watching Trezeguet for a long time. I would love to sign one of the three-player shortlist we have decided.”
