Turki Al-Sheikh: I will drop all lawsuits against Al Ahly, It’s my home
Al-Sheikh and his Egyptian lawyer Mohamed Hamouda have filed several lawsuits against Al Ahly and its board members in the past couple of months.
However, the former Al Ahly honorary president said that the Red Castle is his home and the club president Mahmoud El-Khatib is like his brother, so he will drop all lawsuits against him.
“Mahmoud El-Khatib is like an older brother to me and Al Ahly is my home like Saudi Arabia is El-Khatib’s home and home to all Egyptians,” Al-Sheikh told LTC TV channel.
“I am currently concentrating all of my work on Pyramids FC, which is going to leave its mark on Egyptian, Arab and world football.
“No one can destroy the relationship between me and ‘Bibo’ [El-Khatib]. I’ll ask Mohamed Hamouda to drop all lawsuits against him,” he added.
Al Ahly also had several problems with their official kit sponsor Sela Sport which Al-Sheikh promised to take care of in the upcoming days.
“I asked ‘MISC’ company to drop all of their lawsuits against Al Ahly which they did and I also asked Sela Sport to drop the EGP 20 million fine that Al Ahly had to pay, they also accepted.
“I also asked from ‘Sela’ to register the sponsorship contract as soon as possible to ease-up Al Ahly’s mission in the CAF Champions League.
“I dropped all of my lawsuits against Al Ahly and I won’t make the same mistake again,” he concluded.
