Ismaily coach Kheïreddine Madoui has stated his intentions to sign Al Ahly midfielder Ahmed El-Sheikh

El-Sheikh was on loan with Al Ettifaq last season and the young winger had a successful stint in the Saudi league before coming back to his parent club Al Ahly.

Madoui has already informed Ismaily management of his desire to sign the young winger.

“I hope we see El-Sheikh in the Ismaily shirt because of his clear technical and physical skills,” the Algerian manager said.

Adli al-Qai’i, an Al-Ahly advisor, previously mentioned that Ismaily were intersted in El-Sheikh.

Ismaily have sold many players during the transfer window, and are hoping that the young winger can fill some of their missing holes.

Last season’s runners up recently signed Omar Fathi from Pyramids. However, many players have gone the opposite way, with Mohamed Fathi among one of the many players that will be making the switch to Pyramids FC.
