Diaa El-Sayed leaves Nogoom El Mostakbal by mutual consent
Diaa El-Sayed has left his position as head coach of Egyptian Premier League side Nogoom El Mostakbal by mutual consent ahead of the start of the 2018/19 season.
The former assistant coach of Egypt’s national team took over at the club in May, succeeding head coach Mohamed Salah who guided the team to secure promotion to the Egyptian Premier League.
According to a number of reports, El-Sayed left the newly promoted club after less than three months at the helm after receiving a better offer.
This would mark Nogoom El Mostakbal’s first ever appearance in Egypt’s top-tier after they secured promotion to the Egyptian Premier League by finishing top of the Cairo group. They will kick off their campaign against Tala’a El-Gaish on August 1.
Nogoom El Mostakbal have already made a number of signings ahead of their first ever top-flight campaign including Zambia winger Obrey Chola Chirwa, Talaa El-Gaish forward Salah Amin, Arab Contractors’ duo Mahmoud Fathallah and Khaled Abdelrazek, Hossam Paolo, Islam El Far, and Tarek El Agamy.
