Besnik Hasi appointed as new coach for Mohamed Atwa’s Al Raed

Belgian manager has been officially hired by Mohamed Atwa’s as new head coach for the Saudi outfit on a one-year deal.

Hasi started his coaching career with Belgium giants Anderlecht where he was appointed on June 2014, spending two years there. Furthermore he was at the helm of Poland’s Lega Warszawa, before going to Olympiacos were he only lasted for three months on the Greek club’s bench.

“With the support of the General Sports Authority chairman Turki Al Sheikh, Al Raed president Fahd Bin Mohamed El Motowa’a have signed a one-year deal agreement with the Belgian coach Besnik Hasi to coach the first team,” Al Raed statement mentioned.

During his career as a manager, Hasi achieved the Belgian league and Super Cup once with Anderlecht, while he also won it three times as an assistant manager for the same club.

Al Raed contain Egypt’s Atwa in their ranks, he had officially signed for Saudi Pro League side Al Raed on a permanent basis in January 2018.
