OFFICIAL: Zamalek’s Emad Fathi joins ENPPI on season-long loan
Zamalek have confirmed that attacking midfielder Emad Fathi has left the club to join ENPPI on a season-long loan.
The 25-year-old has only joined Zamalek last January from Misr El-Makkasa during former manager Ehab Galal’s stint as the Whites’ manager.
Fathi has impressed at Zamalek, introducing himself with a debut goal and an assist against El-Dakhleya, before scoring once more in his side’s 2-1 win over Tanta.
He played an important role in Zamalek’s Egypt Cup triumph as he featured in the semi-final and the final against Ismaily and Smouha.
However, Zamalek have still decided to loan him out to ENPPI, becoming the second Zamalek player to join the Petroleum club after Mohamed Ashraf.
ENPPI have also signed Mohamed Morsi and Mahmoud Ghaly from Tanta, Fady Nagah from Mauerwerk Sport Admira, Petrojet keeper Amr Hossam, and Morocco’s Noah Sadaoui.
ENPPI have finished last season in sixth place, 11 points away from the African competitions qualification spots.
