international has joined side Al Qadsiyah following his departure from Shenzhen in China.

The 31 year old had been in good goalscoring form in China’s second tier, however the signing of Gambian striker Pa Dibba meant that a foreign player space had to be cleared and Oumarou was the one to make way.

Oumarou adds to Al Qadsiyah’s African contingent which is currently just Ivory Coast’s Herve Guy who was purchased last year from IR Tanger of Morocco.

The best spell of Oumarou’s career so far was at Serbian outfit Vojvodina where he scored 31 in 86 games which saw the then 25 year old break into the Cameroon national team. As well as this, Oumarou has the distinction of playing for both Red Star and Partizan Belgrade despite it being arguably the most fiercely contested rivalry in world football.

Al Qadsiyah get their Saudi Professional League campaign underway on August 31st against Al Fateh at 5:40PM Egyptian time.
