Salah scores in Liverpool’s 4-0 win against West Ham United
Mohamed Salah has scored his first goal of the season as Liverpool thrashed West Ham 4-0 in the opening day of the Premier League.
Liverpool started the match very dominant against Pellegrini’s men and had more of the ball. They managed to convert their dominance into goals just 19 minutes into the game through Mohamed Salah.
Andrew Robertson set up the ball for Salah and the Egyptian made no mistake in front of the goal, making it 1-0.
In the last minute of the first-half, Sadio Mane doubled the lead after a fantastic ball from Robertson to Milner, who set up the Senegal international really well.
West Ham made a substitution at the beginning of the second-half hoping to make any difference, but things only got worse.
Mane scored his second of the day and Liverpool’s third, before Daniel Sturridge, who replaced Mohamed Salah, sealed the win in the 87th minute after a bad corner defending.
Liverpool’s next match will be against Crystal Palace away on the eighth of August, while West Ham will face Bournemouth two days earlier.
