Saudi club Al Batin capture the signing of Aziz Bouhaddouz

Saudi club have managed to complete a surprising transfer move by signing international few hours before the conclusion of the summer transfer window.

Bouhaddouz was lastly active in the German second division with his team FC St. Pauli in the last couple of years. He registered 56 appearances in his two-year spell with the team scoring 19 goals and making eight assists.

The 31-year-old forward also had experiences in several categories of the German football leagues since the start of his professional career with the likes of Frankfurt II, Bayer Leverkusen II, Viktoria Köln and Wehen Wiesbaden.

Al Batin club confirmed on Wednesday that they finalised the signing of Bouhaddouz on a season-long deal with the presence of an option to extend his contract with the club, also thanks to the financial backing of chairman of Saudi General Sports Authority Turki Al Sheikh.

Bouhaddouz has collected 17 international caps with the Moroccan national team. He was one of the team members in the last 2018 World Cup in Russia and featured against Iran, where he scored a deciding own goal, and Spain in the group stage.
