Mohamed El-Shenawy, Mido Gaber ruled out of Haras El-Hodood clash
Mido Gaber came off injured in the second half in Al Ahly’s 1-0 win against Wadi Degla while Mohamed El-Shenawy was injured after the game.
Speaking to Al Ahly’s official website, Mohamed Youssef has confirmed the pair’s injuries, saying: “El-Shenawy and Gaber both underwent scans.
“El-Shenawy is suffering from a groin injury while Gaber is suffering from a hamstring strain.
“Manager Patrice Carteron and the technical staff have decided that it’s best to rest both players for the game against Haras El-Hodood,” he concluded.
Al Ahly travel to face Haras El-Hodood on Friday, kick-off is set to take place at 19:00 GMT.
