Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’ has been courted by Sevilla amidst interest from Marseille of and Stuttgart of the , after his exceptional season for .

Having lit up the Turkish Superlig last season with Kasimpasa, the strong favourites to secure the services of Trezeguet were league champions Galatasaray. However, while they remain interested in the winger, they face competition from Sevilla, Marseille and Stuttgart.

While Sevilla had an uncharacteristically poor season domestically, finishing in 7th place under Vincenzo Montella, they remain a club with a lot of European pedigree having won the Europa League three times in the last four years as well as reaching the Champions League quarter finals last season, famously knocking out Manchester United in the process.

Los Hispalenses are on the lookout for a new left winger having lost Argentina international Joaquin Correa to Lazio, and Trezeguet would be ideal to play the high intensity, attacking approach that new manager Pablo Machin brought to ’s surprise package of last season, Girona.

Trezeguet also appeared to be heading to earlier in the summer as part of a move that would see him go to newly promoted Parma on loan, however no deal materialised and the Italian transfer window is now closed.

Other clubs believed to be interested in Trezeguet include Marseille, although the Egyptian plays in the same position as their star player Dimitri Payet so there may be question marks over his playing time.

It is also believed that Stuttgart are chasing Trezeguet, as the German club have an ambitious project under the guidance of Reschke and Korkut. Trezeguet would replace both Carlos Mane and Jacob Bruun Larsen who returned to their parent clubs from loan this summer.

As of now, Trezeguet is still at Kasimpasa where his next game will be against Robinho’s Sivasspor later today at 6:15PM Egyptian time.
