Turki Al Sheikh discusses new deals for Pyramids in January
Chairman of Saudi General Sports Authority and owner of Pyramids FC Turki Al Sheikh revealed that Pyramids will finalize top-notch deals during the winter transfer window.
After spending the most out of all Egyptian Premier League teams in the transfer market, forming a new squad and hiring an all-Brazilian technical staff, the owner of the rebranded club announced that his side will reveal five new signings in January.
“We will finalize five first-class deals in January which everyone will be talking about,” Turki Al Sheikh said on his official Facebook page.
Pyramids were off to a good start in the league after collecting seven points from their first three games with two wins and one draw. The team’s players received 100,000 EGP each following the 3-1 victory over El-Dakhleya in the league.
The new club are currently undergoing their first transitional period since being created this summer, with their first manager Alberto Valentim leaving due to star forward Ribamar being sent to the Saudi League by Turki Al Sheikh
Al Sheikh said recently that his team will need from three to five years to be able to have a solid team that will win titles.
