Al Ahly: Amr El-Sulaya out of action for four weeks
Al Ahly revealed that Amr El-Sulaya will be out of action for four weeks after he sustained an injury during the team’s match against Kampala City in the CAF Champions League group stage.
Amr El-Sulaya suffered a hamstring strain in Al Ahly’s recent 4-3 win against Kampala in the CAF Champions League and the club’s medical team led by Khaled Mahmoud announced that the player will need four weeks to recover from his injury.
The Red Devils announced before that El-Sulaya will be missing the team’s next clash in the league against Entag El-Harby and after the extend of his injury was revealed, he will miss at least three more league games against Dakhleya, El-Gouna and Pyramids FC.
He is also expected to miss the Champions League quarter-final matches set to be played on one of the days of the 14th, 15th, 16th of September for the first leg match while the second leg will be held on one of the days of the 21st, 22nd, 23rd of the same month.
Al Ahly football director, Mohamed Youssef, also said that the club’s key players Hossam Ashour and Walid Soliman will undergo medical tests to know if they will be available for Entag El-Harby encounter.
Soliman suffered an ankle injury during the team’s training session on Monday while Ashour sustained a back injury during Kampala City clash.
