Salah to compete with Ronaldo, Modric for FIFA’s The Best award

Liverpool winger was nominated for FIFA’s The Best Men’s Player of the Year award alongside and .

Recently, Salah was also nominated for the UEFA Player of the Year award alongside the same two players after his exceptional debut campaign with Liverpool, which saw him score 44 goals.

However, Salah lost the award to Luka Modric following an impressive season for the Croatian.

He was also nominated for the Best Forward award at the UEFA Champions League but could not defeat Portuguese legend, Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 15 goals for Real Madrid in last season’s UEFA Champions League campaign.

Now the young Pharaoh will compete with Ronaldo and Modric again but this time for FIFA’s top award after Messi was not included in the final list for the first time since 2006.
